Overview

Projects fail when they are too big, vague, or under-planned. In this module, you’ll use AI to break projects into phases and tasks, estimate time and priority, and design simple weekly plans.

1. Project breakdown

Scenario A – Launching a new service

4. Weekly checklist generator

5. Mini exercises

  1. Choose a current project and run it through the project breakdown prompt.
  2. Use the time and priority prompt on the resulting task list.
  3. Generate a weekly plan for the next 2–4 weeks and paste it into your calendar or task manager.

6. Advanced techniques

  • Scenario planning: ask AI for best-case, likely, and worst-case timelines.
  • Risk lists: ask AI to list possible risks and mitigation ideas.
  • Post-mortems: after a project, paste notes and ask AI what could be improved next time.
