Module 13 – SOPs & Checklists
Overview
Once you have a good workflow, lock it in. This module shows you how to use AI to document processes so they’re easy to repeat and delegate.
What you’ll learn
- How to convert a workflow into a structured SOP.
- How to create checklists that reduce errors.
- How to keep SOPs updated as work changes.
1. Capture the workflow
You are my operations assistant. I will describe a workflow.
Please turn it into:
- A short SOP (steps with owners)
- A checklist version
- Common mistakes to avoid
Workflow: [PASTE WORKFLOW]
2. Make it scannable
Use numbered steps, short sentences, and bolded checkpoints to make SOPs easy to follow.
3. Review and version
Add a “last updated” date and set a quarterly reminder to review.
Today’s action
- Choose one repeatable workflow to document.
- Create both an SOP and a checklist version.
- Schedule a quarterly SOP review.
